#Habs legend Henri Richard has passed at age 84. The "Pocket Rocket" won the #StanleyCup an astounding 11 times, the most of any player in history - and matched Bill Russell for the most in NA major pro sports. He also holds the Montreal franchise record for games played (1,258).

RIP, Henri Richard. Your speed, grace, tenacity, and class are legendary. Your championship total will probably never be matched. You were known as the Pocket Rocket but you were larger than life as I grew up. One of the reasons I readily gravitated to the #Habs in my youth.

He may have played his last shift 10 years before I was born, but learning about those #Canadiens teams of the '60s and '70s, I immediately took a liking to Henri Richard.

I was never much of an autograph person but one I paid for a few years ago at a card show was from Henri Richard. A true #legend of the game. He studied this card and smiled before he signed. RIP, Pocket Rocket #Habs β¦@Dave_Stubbsβ© pic.twitter.com/Nyh6qMYuv7
